I'm Jessica, born and raised in sunny Cape Town, South Africa.
In 2016, I took a leap of faith and headed to the US to become an Au Pair and experience all the amazing things life has to offer!
While in the US, I accepted an Executive Assistant position at an IT recruitment company. Little did I know, this job would open my eyes to the exciting world of coding and ignite my passion to become a Software Developer. That's when I decided to enroll in a bootcamp with MIT xPRO, specializing in FullStack Development with MERN.
I am excited to keep learning about this new passion of mine. Currently I am enrolled in classes with Codecademy to hone in on, and advance my skills as much as possible.
